I don't know about you guys but I want more “we fucked up” moments of realization from cybertronians when dealing with crazy humans.

They go into battle not seeing the “little squishes’ as threats- in fact as canon fodder. Suddenly then something happens; a human gets a weapon, or one becomes just a little too determined then just like that they kill a Cybertronian, or at least injure them greatly. A prime (pun intended) example of this is with Megatron's reaction to Hardshell’s death.

I mean just look at Megatron's face right here and tell me it isn't immensely satisfying/funny to look at.

Megatron just looks so confused and maybe a little uneasy- as remember from his perspective this is like the equivalent of a chinchilla killing a grown adult man.

Then afterwards he gives this sort of insightful look.

Personally I like to interpret this scene as him thinking whether to consider Miko as a real threat or not. While Megatron definitely has the mindset of looking down at those being beaten by “weaker enemies” even he knows or well recognizes that yes Hardshell was indeed very powerful but…. yet he was defeated by something smaller than his servo.

Just something to think about.

What is the relationship like between the hybrids and their mothers? If the hybrid is the sparkling of Megatron (TFA and TFP), do the human mothers have no control of raising them? or they do but monitored?

Also, do they call their Cybertronian mom/dad, carrier/sire? and the Human mom/dad... just mom/dad/mother/father? Or vice versa?

Considering how Cybertronians don't reproduce the same way we do, they NEED to keep the mother around no matter what (and want to desperately because they have no idea how to handle these tiny, fleshy sparklings)

Of course, the birth parents have plenty of time to raise them if they want to, especially since the sparklings need to be breast-fed to survive (they'll start drinking energon/oil as they grow older). Although, postpartum depression is also a thing - and considering the circumstances and nature of the birth... I'm sure it can affect them

I assume TFA Megatron is keeping a close eye on his sparkling's human parent, but he's not excessively monitoring them either because at this age he can't teach it much

Meanwhile TFP Megatron is holding both the sparkling and its carrier in his servos - he pays more attention than TFA and hypes his sparkling's future far too much - his presence can feel suffocating at times

(honestly the terms depend on a case by case basis. While Cybertronians tend to generalize the words to a gender neutral "carrier/sire" while describing other species - you can call them whatever. Same thing with the human. It depends on the sparkling and its parents)
